Romantic Kalamazoo Country Club Wedding

Melissa and Evans Kalamazoo Country Club wedding couldn’t have been more perfect!

Melissa booked me for her bridal beauty stylist a whole year in advance. She knew right what she wanted from the beginning. The style she was going for was a sweet romantic look with soft curled tendrils and a defined yet natural look for her makeup.

Mel and I had a slight advantage when we tried. The advantage being that I have known her for over 5 years and have done her hair and makeup since her prom and senior pictures were taken. I was already fortunate to know her comfort level and style likes and dislikes.

Even with the advantage of knowing Melissa’s style likes and comfort level we decided that two trials were necessary. I truly feel that the ease of the morning was due to her and I taking the time to narrow down every detail.

Lets talk about her Kalamazoo Country Club wedding for just a sec. I have been to many different venues over the years and I have to really say how impressed I was with the vanities available for hair and makeup. The lighting was spot on and the space they have created for the getting ready process really allowed me to spread out my products and create a space for designing and creating comfortably. Not to mention the venue itself being in such a beautiful location. Overlooking Whites Lake and totally surrounded with green lush grasses and beautiful landscapes.
