GALA EDITORIAL MAKEUP

I have to say I really love doing the out of the box creative hair and makeup most!

Every year Valerie Ott Photography and I have a Gala we put on in support of a charity. At the Gala we reveal some of our most prized images of our then current Bee Squad. Last year our theme was dolls. Leading up to the gala we had each girl come into the studio and we dressed her as a specific doll, then photographed her. We didn’t share any of the images with the girls so they knew not how beautiful they were until the revealing at the gala.

I looked forward to the gala since the last one had ended, I loved it so much. Creating each doll was such an amazing process that I couldn’t wait to share each one with everyone. Valerie and I put so much thought into how each girl would be dressed and posed that it was almost painful to keep them secret.

So believe me when I say, that it kills me to have to keep the next bee squad theme a secret. IT KILLS ME I SAY! I have to watch my mouth when describing what the gala is when someone asks. I just want to say, “oh and this years theme is…” I have one more week until I am aloud to spill the beans and it just cant come fast enough!
